Dear Saint Vincent de Paul Family,
We will run out of money soon and I need your help in order to continue paying our parish staff. Here are the details:
Every two weeks Saint Vincent’s pays $80,000 in salaries to our parish staff and school teachers. As of today, we have $135,000 in our checking account and $19,000 in savings, enough money for our March 27th and April 10th payrolls. Without your help, we’ll be out of money by mid-April and will be forced to consider staff layoffs and/or salary reductions. In addition to the tuition payments we receive, your parish requires $23,000 in weekly income in order to make ends meet; last Sunday we received $11,000.
I’m sorry to be so blunt but it’s important I make you fully aware of our needs. What can you do to help?
I urge you to transition to online giving today. Instead of dropping your giving envelope or personal check into the Sunday collection basket, use
this link to go to the giving page of our new parish website and set up your weekly or monthly giving. Setting up your online giving is easy and secure. I need you to be as generous as you can, as quickly as you can!
In addition, please consider making a one-time sacrificial gift in order to help us through this difficult time. Your gift, joined with the gifts other generous parishioners, will allow us to pay our dedicated staff now, and keep them serving our beloved parish community into the future.
As always, I keep you and your prayer intentions in my heart and in my daily Masses. May the good God see us through this national emergency and teach us to love Him more deeply than ever!
Fr. John Hilton
